We offer a wide range of structural repairs at Dukes Guitarworks. Each job is unique, so prices may be subject to change, depending on the nature of the damage. Prices do not include cost of parts/materials.

Bone Nut/Saddle Replacement

$120

Bone nuts and saddles are regarded highly in the guitar community for their improved durability and sustain. Each bone nut is hand carved to fit perfectly on your guitar and is slotted for your preferred string gauges. Bone saddles are hand carved to fit your saddle slot and properly intonate your acoustic. Every nut/saddle replacement includes a full premium setup.

Premade Nut and Saddle Replacement

$95

If you want to replace your nut or saddle with a premade graphite or composite part, we can do that too! Unfortunately, these pieces rarely fit perfectly for your individual guitar and still require proper seating and slotting. Luckily, we can take care of that for you! Every nut/saddle replacement includes a full premium setup.

12-String Bone Nut Replacement

$145

Same service as our bone nut/saddle replacement, just with twice the work! Get a custom 12-string bone nut or saddle with a premium setup included!

Tuning Machine Replacement

$45

We can swap out your tuning machines and restring your guitar while we're at it! We recommend contacting us prior to ordering your tuners so that we can advise you on the best options to fit your specific guitar.

Acoustic Crack Repair

$20 per inch

If your acoustic has a crack, it's best to address it as soon as possible to prevent it from spreading or separating further. For a recently discovered crack, these repair generally costs around $20 per inch of crack, but some longer/wider cracks or labor intensive repairs may cost a little more. Contact us to get an in depth inspection to determine exact pricing.

Bridge Reglue

$170

Is your bridge lifting up from the top of your guitar? First things first, immediately remove all tension from your strings to prevent the issue from worsening or causing more problems. Then, give us a call to get it fixed up! All bridge reglues require full removal of your bridge and include a full premium setup.

Headstock Repair

$110-$440

Let me guess... it's a Gibson :) All jokes aside, a headstock break may be heartbreaking, but it is by no means a death sentence for your guitar. If you haven't already, remove the tension from your strings to prevent the break from getting any worse before you bring it in for a repair. These repairs vary greatly in terms of the labor and time needed to properly address the issue, so contact us today to schedule an inspection and receive a quote. All headstock repairs come with a premium setup.
